Val, Diane, Ryan, Ashley and Mike, Blake's family, Brent and Jan, Jess and Drew all went to St. George this weekend. When Ashley and Mike get back they are going to move into the duplex. Apparently, they close on WEdnesday.
Carrie's family and I are going to decorate the graves on Monday. I got a new tractor windmill for Verlo's grave (the old one faded and broke).
Quite different from past Memorial days - Newton picnics and all of us together. But change is good and makes life more interesting.
Happy MEmorial day - and Happy Birthday to Corbin!

This Week
I had a fun and busy weekend, especially Saturday. Early Saturday morning was our Stake’s Temple sessions. I went with Brent and Jan. I decided while they were doing an Endowment Session I would do Initiatory. I am trying to memorize and knew it would help me to remember. I did 15. Hope it helps. After we got out we went to Golden Corral for breakfast.
In the afternoon I went to Erma Anderson’s 90th Birthday Open House. They are the ones we lived by on 36th street. Doesn’t seem possible she is that old but she was a little older than Verlo.
I came home from that in time to go to the movie with Carrie and Tim and family. We went to Narnia. It was good but I had not seen the first one and it took me quite awhile to get on to the jest of it.
Later in the week Hill Air Force Base came to test the new system they put in.
Also, had an Eye Doctor’s appointment. He showed me a picture of how it was before and it sure is better now but not as good as I would like. He said he could fix it a little more with only 3 stitches but don’t know if I want to go thru that again. I told him to give me time to think about it. That sums up the last week so will close with Love to you all. If I ever get on to this blogging it will be fun.

Let's see if I can do this
Thanks to Carrie I'm trying to learn how to blog. It will take me awhile, like everything else I have to learn, but maybe I'll make it.
Carrie says this is a journal that will never be lost so that is my goal.
It's temple day again. I'm enjoying it but having a hard time memorizing. They tell me, at the temple, that they won't give up on me. If I haven't learned it in 6 months, they said they would figure themselves failures. So I better make it.
